“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.” – Forest E. Witcraft
Miss Taryn started taking dance classes when she was four years old, and has studied various styles including jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop. Her favourite part about teaching dance is watching how the students progress in not only technique and ability, but also classroom etiquette, engagement, and other aspects. Such as being able to stand in a line of peers and understanding formation changes – she works primarily with the youngest dancers!
Miss Tayrn works in the Child Development field and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with her studio colleagues. She also holds the title of Assistant Team Leader, and works to support and coach all of the teaching assistants at Royal Dance. Her teaching style for all her little dancers? Repetition, repetition, repetition!!
Her hobbies include spending summers out at the lake, vacationing in tropical destinations and snuggling her sweet golden retriever.
