Kelsey McCall

Miss Kelsey has been dancing since the young age of three. She grew up training with Royal Dance and began to assist classes in her early teen years; this experience and love of dance eventually led her to her current career as a Dance Educator with the Winnipeg School Division. Kelsey has taught with us for over ten years, and has experience in teaching many ages and styles such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Fantasy Dance, Adult Classes and Hip Hop. Currently, Kelsey is a Teacher and directs the Dance Program for a middle school in Winnipeg’s West End. Kelsey enjoys giving those students who may not have an opportunity to train in dance, the chance to explore and benefit from dance education in a public school setting. When Kelsey is not immersed in teaching dance, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and relaxing with her friends and family. Kelsey believes that having personal and positive relationships with her students is the key to a successful classroom and her students growth, and strives to keep her students learning in a engaged and fun way. Witnessing students success and growth is one of her favourite parts of teaching, and she works to ensure her students can be proud and celebrate their own accomplishments as well. Kelsey is thrilled to share her passion for dance with students all around Winnipeg, and looks forward to another wonderful year at Royal Dance at the Forks!
